Fobb SecurityYou can delete your Fobb account at any time. Deleting it removes what our server holds about you. It is permanent and cannot be undone.
The fastest way: in the app
- Open Fobb on your phone and unlock it.
- Go to Settings → Fobb account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning, confirm, and approve with your fingerprint (or face) if asked.
The account is deleted immediately.
Can't open the app? Ask us by email
Email privacy@fobbsecurity.com from the email address on your Fobb account, with the subject "Delete my Fobb account". We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your name and email address.
- The public keys of the devices linked to your account.
- Your subscription status and the billing identifiers we hold for it.
- Any promotion or referral records connected to your account, including the email addresses you entered for a referral promotion.
What is not affected
Your vault and passwords. They are encrypted on your own devices and were never on our servers, so deleting your account does not delete them. Delete the app, or use "Erase vault on this device", if you want them gone.
Your backups. Encrypted backups live in your own Google Drive. We cannot see or delete them; you can remove them from Drive.
Your Google Play subscription. We cannot cancel it for you. Cancel Fobb Pro in the Google Play Store (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) before deleting your account, or you may keep being charged.
